During April we had the privilege to attend to the LaQ Festa in Tokyo, Japan. The LaQ Festa is an annual event that alternates between Tokyo and Nara in Japan. Nara is the ancient capital of Japan, and is where the headquarters of Yoshiritsu is located.
The Festa is a great family event and had over 5,000 attendees, across many age ranges. It was a great interactive showcase with many different areas set up, and it was great to see not only the kids having a fun time, but there were many adults enjoying themselves. The theme for this year was "Under the sea".
There is traditionally a showcase area for the LaQ master builders, where you can see the sheer creativity and inventiveness of what you can do with LaQ. Our favourites were the Octopus' Garden, the traditional Japanese castle, the Penguins at play and the Meerkats. The photos below are just a short taste of the fun on display
What were the other highlights? We'll cover these in the next posts!
